Responsibilities/Duties

DSI (Diversified Services for Industry) is looking to fill a Supervisor position in an industrial facility in Forest City, IA. Essential responsibilities of this position will include training, coaching, quality control, scheduling, and ensuring that safety procedures are followed in a manufacturing environment. This position will have staff on all shifts/7 days a week, however, the majority of the supervisor duties will take place during the day with some weekends required.  However, must be available to work any shift. Reinforce all safety policies, including accident prevention and investigations.

Required Skills

 Successful candidates must have previous experience in a service related or warehousing industry, a positive attitude, basic computer skills, excellent communication and the ability to motivate employees to do their very best. Also key are the ability to work independently, personal initiative and strong customer service skills, as well as access to reliable transportation while possessing a valid driver's license. The position will include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, a lot of walking and lifting up to 40 pounds. Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Details

The pay range for this position is $18 - $22/hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), STD and vacation.
